FCS head congratulates staff on Customs Officer Day

According to an FCS Russia press release, the service head congratulated staff on Customs Officer Day of the Russian Federation.

The address noted that customs officers protect Russia’s economic interests, public safety, and foreign trade every day. The first five-year stage of the FCS development strategy has been completed; mission, vision, and goals were updated on instructions from the President and Government.

Further progress is tied to digital transformation: a strategic committee has been set up and specialists hold working meetings with foreign-trade participants and regional officials. Profile customs classes opened in 12 schools from 1 September; 3,735 civil servants were transferred to staff status this year.

For personnel returning after military service, the Russian Customs Academy runs advanced training with psychological support. The message also noted support for personnel in the special military operation zone and the role of customs veterans.

The FCS head thanked staff for their work and wished them well-being, professional growth, and health for employees and their families.
