FCS Russia published a National Unity Day message from the Head of the service to staff.
The address recalls a period when the country’s sovereignty was at risk and people of different estates rallied in the militia of Minin and Pozharsky to defend their homeland.
The holiday now stands for inter-ethnic harmony, mutual respect and shared responsibility for Russia’s future. Voluntary unity of citizens, the text notes, underpins customs work to safeguard economic security.
Every officer protects the country at his or her post within the unified machinery of the Federal Customs Service. Special thanks were expressed to colleagues taking part in the special military operation.
The Head thanked personnel for dedicated service and professionalism and wished them health, wellbeing and further success for the benefit of the nation.
