The FCS Russia press office reports a working visit by Service head Valery Pikalyov to the operational area of the Zaporozhye customs post of Crimea customs.
In Berdyansk he inspected offices that will soon house post staff and approved plans to build more than 800 sq. m of service housing and improve the surrounding area.
Officials also briefed him on Rosgranstroi measures to deploy staff at the Berdyansk sea border crossing.
In Melitopol he reviewed reconstruction: paving and a cargo and vehicle yard are complete, and repairs to the post building continue. Pikalyov stressed quality and deadlines and called for continued oversight of the site.
