Delegates considered 26 items. A priority is cutting standard border control time to 10 minutes under instructions from President Vladimir Putin; members backed using advance electronic data as the basis for end-to-end automation of state control at road checkpoints.
Risk management was a separate focus: decisions were taken on customs value and transit, and approaches were agreed for cooperation between classification and risk working groups.
Eight product lines were harmonised for uniform classification, including mineral concentrate, blood-pressure monitors and air-system receivers for certain vehicles.
Given growth in e-commerce, the collegium will continue sharing experience on controlling goods in international postal items using non-intrusive inspection.
Rules were approved for a skills competition for inspection-complex analyst operators. The next collegium session will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
