The message notes that the spring holiday is traditionally marked by words of gratitude and respect for women's family and professional contribution. Pikalyov said that most officials and staff in the customs service are women.
He thanked employees for conscientious work, their contribution to developing customs bodies and ensuring the country's economic security, and for taking part in sports and cultural activities. Veterans of the customs service were praised separately as a model for younger generations.
The address wished recipients good health, wellbeing for their families and fulfilment of their dearest wishes.
