The total value of the goods was almost RUB 1.5 million.
The equipment was seized and, by court decision, transferred to federal ownership. CAT head Alexander Shvedov said work to detect violations not only stops illegal imports but also allows seized goods to be used effectively in the interests of the state.
Customs officers later arranged transfer of the snow and swamp vehicles to representatives of the Russian Defence Ministry at a military unit for use in the area of the special military operation.
