Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS Russia) Vladimir Ivin took part in the 11th “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” conference. The delegation also included CITTTU head Andrey Orekhov, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Automated Customs Procedures Yekaterina Zhuk and Deputy Head of the Federal State Institution “Centre for Information Technologies” Anton Davydov.

The forum is traditionally held at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. In 2026 its theme is technological transformation of industry: replacing foreign software with domestic solutions, process automation and deploying artificial intelligence at plants.

Vladimir Ivin joined a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government Dmitry Grigorenko and deputy heads of federal agencies responsible for digital transformation. Participants discussed faster rollout of domestic digital solutions in key sectors and inter-agency coordination under the Technology Development Strategy to 2030.

Andrey Orekhov spoke at the session “CII 2.0 Synergy Stack: the infrastructure role of cloud and AI in government and business digital services”, supported by SberTech. The delegation held working meetings and reviewed IT vendors’ products — including Astra Group, PostgresPro, R7, YADRO and SOFTLINE — as part of re-engineering the customs information system.

Vladimir Ivin said the emerging EAISTO 2.0 digital ecosystem should rely on the best domestic solutions to meet Russia’s strategic customs development goals.
