The EEC Minister for Economy and Financial Policy and a representative of the UN Commission on International Trade Law recorded their intent to build a systematic partnership between the two organisations.
The text should ease drafting and adoption of EAEU bodies’ acts in trade law by drawing on UNCITRAL’s leading materials and standards, with practical application ensured within the Union.
Sultanov described formalising ties with the UN as a move that will strengthen expert and analytical support for integration and raise the Commission’s international profile.
