Members set final steps for the peer evaluation of Armenia's accreditation body, due to finish in summer 2026. For Belarus, the assessment team and its leader were agreed, allowing work to start late this year.
Drawing on established practice, amendments were prepared to the procedure for mutual peer evaluations approved by EAEU governments in 2022. The Council also discussed national bodies' participation in inter-laboratory comparative testing within the Union.
Members agreed to keep improving information exchange among accreditation bodies. The Council was established in 2018 by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council; Kazakhstan's National Accreditation Center chairs it in 2026.
