At the Rudnya and Krasnaya Gorka stationary checkpoints, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Sazanov, Deputy Transport Minister Valentin Ivanov, FCS head Valery Pikalyov, Deputy FTS head Agepsim Ashkalov and a senior FNS official reviewed the goods delivery expectation confirmation system (SPOT) on its first day of mandatory operation.

By 13:00 on 1 June more than 500 vehicles had passed through both posts without reported failures. Officials said the system did not slow border processing.

They credited a trial period, equipment readiness and large-scale inspector training; control algorithms are used in live conditions.

Carriers said QR checks and staff preparation kept crossings quick, with drivers reporting no delays.

Pikalyov said SPOT aims at transparent supplies and equal conditions for business; a meeting during the visit discussed standard checkpoint layouts to speed transit.
