In 2025, trade turnover between EAEU states and Morocco rose 17% to more than USD 2 billion. The memorandum of cooperation between the EEC and the Government of Morocco, signed in Rabat on 28 September 2017, provides a basis for dialogue on a broad range of economic issues.

The ambassador highlighted opportunities to develop ties with EAEU countries and use Morocco's potential as a gateway to African markets. Both sides confirmed readiness for sectoral consultations and outreach to business communities.

Morocco is a beneficiary under the EAEU unified tariff preference system: reduced or zero duty rates may apply to certain goods imported from the country into the Union.
