The main focus was implementation of the joint action plan between the EEC and the Government of Cuba for 2026–2030, signed in May 2026 at the Eurasian Economic Forum in Astana. The plan covers technical and customs cooperation, industry, agriculture, transport, tourism and digitalisation, as well as direct business-to-business links.

Imanaliev welcomed Cuba's interest in Eurasian integration processes and the positive momentum of dialogue based on sharing regulatory practices and helping business communities connect. The parties discussed preparations for the fifth meeting of the joint commission between the EEC and the Government of Cuba, planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, and agreed to hold working consultations to align the agenda.
