SPIEF session discusses EAEU role in global agro-production markets

Government officials, entrepreneurs, industry associations and analysts looked at prospects for developing the agro-industrial complex in Union states, deepening cooperation and placing EAEU products on foreign markets.

Goar Barsegyan stressed that raising agro-industrial competitiveness, launching joint projects and building sustainable value chains will require coordinated effort from all member states.

The session also addressed export opportunities in agriculture, the rollout of advanced technologies and effective formats for international partnership. Speakers pointed to the considerable resource and production base of EAEU countries, which can strengthen their standing in global agro-production and food security.

Those present confirmed interest in closer integration in agriculture and aligned approaches to new external markets. The meeting outlined priority cooperation tracks to reinforce the EAEU’s role in the world agro-food market.
