On 9 June the EEC Board approved updated programmes for drafting interstate standards under three EAEU technical regulations on railway products. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The regulations cover safety of railway rolling stock, high-speed rail transport and railway transport infrastructure. The programmes are intended to give member states a common standards base for applying these rules.

For rolling stock, the plan lists 31 interstate standards based on national EAEU documents, revision of 17 existing standards, amendments to two, two standards based on test methods and three new ones. For high-speed transport it provides for 24 new interstate standards, revision of 20, amendments to nine, one standard based on a test method and two new standards.

The infrastructure block includes 14 standards based on national ones, revision of eight, amendments to two and three new standards. Some items have no assigned developer yet and are marked as prospective development.
