Since 26 May 2026, Islan Dzhusupbaev has been deputy director at the EEC customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation department. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
He is a graduate of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (Finance and Credit, 2010; International Law master's, 2014).
Immediately before joining the department he served from June 2025 in the integration and macroeconomics minister's secretariat. For three years he worked on an EBRD project on business rights and cutting administrative barriers.
His earlier posts included the Kyrgyz presidential administration (2018–2020), the republic's Ministry of Economy (2017–2018) and central economic and tax agencies.
