The parties reviewed priorities under the memorandum of understanding between the EEC and the Cambodian government and confirmed their regular dialogue on trade and economic issues.
Since the memorandum was signed in 2016, EAEU–Cambodia trade has risen 34%. EAEU exports to the kingdom grew 37.8% in 2025 — a trend Sagintayev said reflects the growing presence of Eurasian producers on the Cambodian market.
Further scope was identified in diversifying product ranges, improving customs administration, aligning standardisation and certification requirements and developing logistics. Business communities and joint business forums in the EAEU and Cambodia were highlighted as key drivers.
The meeting confirmed readiness to deepen practical cooperation, including within the EAEU–ASEAN dialogue.
