FCS Russia head Valery Pikalyov, with deputies Vladimir Ivin and Agepsim Ashkalov, visited six stationary checkpoints on the Russia–Belarus border in Pskov Region today — Nevelsky, Baidakovo, Dolostsy, Stayki, Klinovoye and Drozdzy. Source: FCS Russia.
The trip is part of a wider tour of border sites as the Service collects infrastructure data and assesses how to align SCPs with a common standard.
Importers and carriers stressed transparent rules, predictable interactions with authorities and faster clearance as their priorities.
Pikalyov reviewed compliance with SPOT algorithms — QR checks take under a minute — and instructed Pskov customs to limit the impact of controls on regional logistics; he also discussed working conditions with front-line staff.
Refined process flows, automated SPOT checks and improved facilities are expected to shorten procedures for hauliers and business.
