EEC Reviews Global Practices for Co-Produced Export Support

On 23 June, the Eurasian Economic Commission Board approved a report analysing global practices for promoting exports of goods produced through industrial cooperation among EAEU member states. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The paper compares approaches to stimulating cooperation and shipments in high-tech industries. It reviews mechanisms used in China, the United States, the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, India and Indonesia that could be adapted within the Union.

Priority tools include digital B2B platforms, aligning products with technical requirements of foreign markets and integrating enterprises into international cooperation chains.

EEC Minister for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex Goar Barsegyan highlighted the supranational financial support mechanism for industrial cooperation, the first five large-scale projects approved — from agricultural machinery to components for high-speed trains — and the development of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company, e-commerce services and analytical support for manufacturers.

The report’s findings are intended to help competent authorities in member states shape industrial policy and strengthen the Union’s export potential.
