Participants discussed measures that could soon strengthen cooperation, ease administrative barriers and launch new joint investment projects across the Eurasian space. Subbotin said that when shaping EAEU law, technical regulation is treated as a competitiveness tool: unified product requirements should ensure safety, remain clear, avoid hidden trade obstacles and support exports.
The minister also joined the Forum’s plenary session — the centrepiece of its business programme — bringing together Union State government leaders, enterprises and business communities.
The Forum ran on 25–26 June in Minsk and the Minsk region. On the first day, ten thematic sections were held alongside an expert session on Union State development and the inaugural meeting of the Union State Committee on Standardisation and Quality. The second day featured the plenary and a large exhibition of Belarusian and Russian producers at BELEXPO.
