The EEC Board has extended transitional provisions under EAEU Technical Regulation 052/2021 on the safety of metro rolling stock by 36 months — until 2 January 2030. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The decision was taken on a proposal from the Russian Federation, taking into account progress in developing interstate standards that underpin the regulation’s requirements.
Technical Regulation 052/2021 on the safety of metro rolling stock was adopted by the EEC Council on 2 December 2021 and entered into force on 2 January 2025.
