The EEC Board has approved updated lists of standards under the Union Technical Regulation on fat and oil products. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The revised lists were prepared on a proposal from the Russian Federation, taking into account the procedure for developing and adopting lists of international and regional (interstate) standards.
The list of voluntarily applied standards contains 22 documents: 18 interstate standards, three Russian national standards and one Kyrgyz national standard. The list of test methods includes 106 items — 86 interstate standards, five Russian, seven Belarusian state standards, four Kazakh national standards and four methodologies (pending development of corresponding interstate standards).
To allow industry time to adapt, the Board decision will take effect 180 calendar days after official publication.
