Government and business representatives from Union countries discussed amendments to the Procedure for Completing a Goods Declaration (Customs Union Commission Decision No. 257 of 20 May 2010) and to the Instruction on Using Transport, Commercial and Other Documents as a Goods Declaration (Decision No. 263).

Proposals included additional data requirements when declaring certain categories of clothing and footwear, as well as goods subject to identification marking.

The customs declaration working group was established by the Consultative Committee; its mandate covers declaration form and completion rules.
