Business representatives from EAEU states and Mongolia, the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia and invited experts took part. Cherekaev outlined benefits under the agreement and joint steps to expand mutual trade.
The interim trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia of 27 June 2025 enters into force on 22 July 2026. Import duties will be eliminated or reduced for 367 tariff lines on each side; the deal runs for three years with automatic extension for a further three-year term.
