Participants examined how to strengthen cross-regional production ties across the Union and involve regional enterprises in cooperative projects. EEC Minister for Industry and the Agro-Industrial Complex Goar Barsegyan noted that regions concentrate key production capabilities, R&D potential and initiatives for joint ventures.
In her view, deeper interregional cooperation is one of the essential conditions for expanding industrial cooperation within the EAEU.
The discussion brought together representatives of industrial companies from Union states, financial institutions, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
