EEC Integration and Macroeconomics Minister Daniyar Imanaliyev and CIS Deputy Secretary-General Denis Trefilov discussed Commission–CIS Executive Committee cooperation, including delivery of the 2026–2030 action plan under the deepening-interaction memorandum signed in May 2026. Imanaliyev said the plan frames joint projects and thematic events, with dedicated tracks on trade, industry, transport, energy, customs cooperation, technical regulation, and sanitary, veterinary and quarantine phytosanitary measures.
Both sides noted dynamic EAEU–CIS trade and room to raise its share in foreign-trade turnover. They also addressed avoiding conflicts between draft EAEU and CIS acts on removing technical barriers in mutual trade and on international road transport.
The talks reaffirmed both organisations’ focus on mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
