FCS Russia head Valery Pikalyov held a working meeting with Rosgranstroy chief Gennady Bezlobenko and Mikhail Kokayev, director of the relevant department at Russia’s Ministry of Transport, on transport infrastructure along the borders with Belarus and Kazakhstan. Source: FCS Russia.
Talks focused on upgrading control technology schemes and further automation, taking into account uneven traffic intensity and how flows are distributed across sections.
FCS Russia presented layouts for individual stationary control points (SCPs) designed for the cargo delivery waiting confirmation system (SPOT). The proposals aim to keep vehicles moving freely, prevent congestion as traffic grows, and eliminate crossing traffic streams within checkpoint grounds.
Participants also reviewed project solutions for modern infrastructure and reaffirmed their intent to continue joint work.
