Talks covered EAEU priorities in civil aviation, including unmanned aircraft systems. A draft Board recommendation on UAS use in civil aviation is in preparation — legislation, international outreach and experience-sharing in a dedicated working group.
The parties reviewed the IAC concept for a shared information space on flight safety and accident investigation. Kozhoshev linked that work to the Commission’s integrated aviation-events database.
EEC representatives will join working groups of the Coordination Commission on remotely piloted aircraft systems on airspace integration, certification, training and infrastructure. The EEC–IAC memorandum dates from 2013; implementation plans are renewed every three years.
