For customs declarations under the EAEU–Mongolia Temporary Trade Agreement, which entered into force on 22 July 2026, dedicated codes apply: “ME” for the tariff preference and “06022” for an EAM certificate of origin. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The codes cover goods originating in Mongolia or an EAEU member state and imported into the Union customs territory under the agreement. The EEC Board adopted the decision on 21 July 2026; it takes effect 30 calendar days after official publication.
Until then, declarations should still use “TI” (other customs-duty reliefs not listed in subsection 1.1) and “06999” (other origin-related documents).
According to the Commission, the new codes simplify foreign-trade accounting and cut costs for economic operators. The temporary trade agreement itself was signed in Minsk on 27 June 2025.
