The passenger was stopped on the green channel during selective control. In his suitcase among personal items, officers found an electronic smoking device, two vials of liquid and a notebook: under the cover were five intact “stamps” and one cut into pieces. A second smoking device was taken from his jeans pocket.
The finds were sent for testing. The “stamps” contained LSD / LSD-25 with a mass of 0.1 g; the liquids and devices contained MDMB (N)–2201 (a banned methyl ester derivative) with a mass of 74.96 g.
A criminal case was opened under Article 229.1(3) of the Russian Criminal Code for illegal movement of narcotic drugs on a large scale. The offence may carry imprisonment of up to twenty years and a fine of up to RUB 1 million.
