The agenda also covered progress in establishing common oil and petroleum-product markets in 2025. The Council approved the annual report on competition in cross-border markets for that year.
The heads of government received monitoring results on regulatory impact assessments of Commission decisions and EAEU international agreements, together with assessments of the actual impact of EEC decisions adopted in 2024–2025.
They also considered reports on carbon regulation in the EAEU and third countries, digitalisation of rail freight within the Union and with China, and implementation of the common approaches to food supply in the five Member States.
The next Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting will take place in Minsk on 1–2 October.
