Kazakhstan’s State Revenue Committee under the Ministry of Finance has notified the Eurasian Economic Commission that the country is temporarily deferring the move to the second stage of applying navigation seals. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The decision is linked to logistics of supplying the required number of seals, which currently limits their use.
To keep transport flows uninterrupted, through 31 August 2026 Kazakhstan will continue administration under the first-stage rules of the Agreement on the use of navigation seals in the EAEU for tracking shipments.
The second stage is planned to begin on 1 September 2026. Interested parties remain in contact to move as soon as possible to full compliance with second-stage obligations.
