They also discussed the Commission’s dialogue with the African Union and regional integration bodies on the continent. That track is backed by an action plan adopted by the Union countries’ deputy prime ministers to promote trade and economic cooperation with selected African states, groupings and development institutions through 2027.
After the meeting, the sides confirmed mutual interest in further developing trade and economic ties.
