Armenia was represented by Deputy Economy Minister Narek Ovakimyan, heads of relevant ministry units, the national accreditation body, the national standardisation and metrology body, and other agencies.
Talks covered the EAEU’s common technical regulation system: a draft technical regulation on nicotine-containing and nicotine-free products, application of the alcohol technical regulation, and further work on Union conformity-assessment rules.
Participants also reviewed proposed amendments to the 2011 Customs Union Commission decision adopting the wheeled-vehicles technical regulation, plus standardisation, accreditation and metrological support.
The sides agreed to continue joint work on these issues at the Commission.
