The EEC Board has set the procedure for bringing into force amendments to the EAEU technical regulation “On the safety of personal protective equipment” (CU TR 019/2011). Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Conformity assessment documents issued before the amendments take effect remain valid until they expire; production and release of such goods onto the market are allowed during that period.
New product types brought within the regulation’s scope may be placed on the market without conformity documents for 18 months from the amendments’ entry into force, and may remain in circulation for their service life or shelf life.
The amendments to CU TR 019/2011 were adopted by EEC Council Decision No. 40 of 13 March 2026 and largely take effect on 27 April 2027 (some new requirements only after relevant test methods are added to the standards lists). The Board decision on the transitional procedure itself enters into force 30 calendar days after official publication.
