The EEC Board extended the anti-dumping duty on welded pipes, tubes and hollow sections of corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel originating in China through 7 September 2031 inclusive. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The measure was retained following a sunset review opened by the Internal Market Protection Department on 13 November 2025 as the previous duty period expired. The review was based on an application by EAEU producers, EEC Minister for Trade Andrey Slepnev said.
The application was filed by Globus-Stal LLC, Marcegaglia RU LLC, Rusinox LLC and Sinarsky Pipe Plant JSC, and supported by Mogilev-Stal LLC, VarTechAuto LLP, Baltinox LLC, PK APEKS LLC, Steel Group Karkas CJSC and Techno Tube LLC.
The duty was originally set by EEC Board Decision No. 12 of 9 February 2021 at rates from 14.62% to 17.28% of customs value, depending on the producer. The measure had also been kept in force for the duration of the review itself.
