The EEC Board amended the list of voluntary standards supporting the Customs Union technical regulation “On food safety” (CU TR 021/2011). Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Three interstate standards will be added under the programme for developing standards to that regulation, and three national (state) EAEU standards on which they are based will be removed. Three documents already on the list will be restated in updated editions after revision.
The amendments take effect 180 calendar days after official publication of the Board decision. The standards were prepared under the programme approved by EEC Board Decision No. 67 of 21 June 2021.
The changes follow subparagraph (b) of paragraph 36 of the procedure for developing and adopting standards lists (EEC Council Decision No. 161 of 18 October 2016): without public consultation or a meeting of the relevant Advisory Committee, based on proposals from standardisation authorities once all Union states have joined the standards.
