The participants stressed the role of the EAEU–Iran joint action plan (roadmap) in delivering practical arrangements and supporting further growth of mutual trade.
The agenda covered reciprocal supplies of agricultural and industrial goods, logistics and transport links, settlements, removal of technical barriers to trade, and technology exchange. Separately, the sides discussed wider use of the North–South corridor, including transit to other EAEU partner countries.
Andrey Slepnev noted that EAEU business is ready to supply goods Iran needs “taking into account current geopolitical conditions”, while Iranian counterparts remain interested in exports amid import diversification.
