Arzybek Kozhoshev, the EEC minister for energy and infrastructure, opened the forum by tying the electronic signature to trust in international transport.
At a strategy session, Commission officials described the e-CMR rollout. Kozhoshev also stressed information security: cross-border digital services raise the need to protect critical infrastructure and keep cryptographic algorithms resilient.
The award was presented as a move toward data travelling ahead of the cargo, with a signature issued in one Union country accepted in another without repeat paperwork.
