The memorandum of understanding between the Commission and ASEAN on economic cooperation was signed in Singapore on 14 November 2018.
The 2026–2030 cooperation programme was adopted in Kuala Lumpur on 26 September 2025. New tracks include competition, financial markets and innovation in industry and agriculture. The focus on business contacts remains.
