The sides reviewed practical customs cooperation, including work between border customs offices aimed at faster clearance of goods.
Portal inspection systems were a separate topic: the Russian side offered to assist Azerbaijani colleagues with deploying such equipment.
They also highlighted the trilateral working group of the customs authorities of Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran that supports transit shipments.
The meeting covered the authorised economic operator framework and readiness to sign related agreements, prior information from foreign-trade participants, and goods classification.
