On 6 October 2026 Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin, FCS head Valery Pikalёv and FSB Border Service deputy Alexey Trubetskoy joined by video; on site were Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, Rosgranstroy head Dmitry Boykov and Far Eastern customs and border officials.

From 22 September the site ran in test mode: more than 2,700 trucks, 1,000 buses and 34,200 people crossed. Design throughput is 650 cargo vehicles, 50 buses and 50 cars per day.

Valery Pikalёv highlighted Kraskino’s role in the Primorye-2 corridor and growing Asia-Pacific freight: more lanes, inspection zones and instrumental controls support cutting typical truck inspection time to about 10 minutes.

The opening strengthens Primorye’s border infrastructure and conditions for carriers and travellers.
