Iran, chairing the subcommittee, presented haulage statistics and interest in higher border capacity and electronic documents.

Agenda items included equal border-crossing conditions, road-haulage costs (fuel, backhaul, route cards), railway digitalisation on the North–South ITC, and customs formalities and less paperwork for transit via Russia.

The sides agreed to prepare a handbook on transport rules in the EAEU and Iran; the next subcommittee meeting is due in 2027 under the Commission’s chair.
