The first EAEU pilot haulage using an electronic international consignment note (e-CMR) is planned for 15 October 2026 on the Kazakhstan–Russia route during Kazakhstan Transport Week. Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Authorities, e-document and foreign e-signature operators, business and international experts reviewed the experiment: operator links are in place, a cross-border trust space is working, and e-CMR drafting and signing are digital.
The next step is real pilot runs with the electronic note. Progress is due before the EEC Council in December 2026.
