The shipment was addressed to a resident of Udmurtia: among a bag and a backpack were watches that triggered radiation monitoring.
Surface readings reached 2.75 µSv/h, making the item unsafe for household use. The sender’s papers listed keys, a bag, a backpack and clothing.
Rospotrebnadzor confirmed non-compliance with the Customs Union’s sanitary requirements (Commission Decision No. 299 of 28 May 2010). Import into Russia is banned; the parcel will be returned to the country of origin.
