EEC handbook on doing business in Vietnam

The Eurasian Economic Commission has published a handbook on doing business in Vietnam, covering regulation, trade terms and market practice; the release marks ten years of the EAEU–Vietnam free trade area (the agreement took effect on 5 October 2016). Source: Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The guide targets entrepreneurs from Union member states and explains how to use tariff preferences and non-tariff access under the FTA.

It describes Vietnam’s economy, trade with third countries, customs and non-tariff rules, technical regulation, logistics and transport, business forms, taxation, currency controls, labour relations and selected sectoral requirements, plus a list of goods of export interest for EAEU companies.

The text reflects market conditions and recent changes in 2025–2026.
