Budget receipts for the first nine months totalled about RUB 5 trillion, up nearly 15% year on year. The Q3 target was met at 103.4% and September’s at 110.1%; the service aims to deliver the revenue forecast assigned to FCS in the Finance Ministry’s estimates.
Pikalov assessed performance across core areas and reaffirmed the goal of cutting truck inspections at the border to ten minutes, in line with the Russian President’s instruction. He also covered the risk-management system (SPOT), development of EAIS TO 2.0, international cooperation, social guarantees, housing, the departmental health resort, and law-enforcement outcomes.
Under measures to formalise the economy and restrict currency exports above permitted limits, authorities opened 116 administrative cases and seized cash worth almost RUB 5 billion; 56 cases involved individuals exporting refined gold bars totalling more than 55.5 kg.
Customs law-enforcement units removed more than 10.5 tonnes of narcotics and potent substances from circulation, over 35 million packs of illicit tobacco (about RUB 5.5 billion), and more than 8,000 weapons and explosives.
Pikalov described the coming year as one of initiatives and called on staff to keep strengthening the service’s leadership as a single team. FCS Russia marks its 35th anniversary on 25 October.
Alexey Sazonov, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Finance, and representatives of federal agencies and partner organisations spoke about long-standing cooperation with customs. The session ended with state and departmental awards for FCS staff.
