In his message he noted that over three decades the union has brought together thousands of like-minded veterans nationwide and shaped customs veterans’ traditions, with many members involved in building the modern customs system.
Pikalov stressed that experience and dedication keep veterans engaged in major service events, support for retirees and sponsored institutions, and efforts to preserve customs history and honour distinguished officers.
For young specialists, veterans remain mentors and a source of practical knowledge. He wished the union’s leadership and all members health, wellbeing, and further success.
