Staff of the EEC Department of Customs Legislation and Enforcement joined online the 33rd meeting of the WCO working group on framework security standards and trade facilitation, held at the organisation’s headquarters in Brussels. The EEC customs team presented the legal and organisational basis for navigation seals in the EAEU—roll-out stages, rules for moving goods under seal, results to date and next steps. EEC representatives then answered questions from the WCO Secretariat and foreign customs administrations. The presentation was welcomed by the Secretariat and by delegations of WCO member and observer states.
